Okay so I once was a YouTuber, yes I was in fact a CoD kid and I am proud of it! I had my 500 odd subs and 15,000 views and gosh darn was I proud of it! I only started at the beginning of this year (2012) and I had big aspirations from the beginning, I was gonna be a star and damn it I was gonna be partnered! And that's actually sort of what happened
My first recording device was my trusty Roxio capture card and my voice was captured using my Turtle Beach PX21's, those were the days :') I recorded about 40 videos with this set up and I got off to a good start and that pretty much got me to a position where I felt brave enough to apply for a Directorship at a Network. Now for those who aren't in the know a Network is a BIG YouTube channel that posts videos from it's Directors/Creators who are essentially under it's employment, they allow users to gain more views and subs with minimal effort (assuming they're good enough to get the job).
I applied for a Directorship at NecessaryGaming and I actually got in first try and that's when things got serious! I got my Hauppauge HD PVR and my Blue Snowball mic and things were pretty good for a while... Long story short I sort of sold out and joined another network for a Partnership and then I felt that I had deserted people so I quit... Fun times
Anyway that was a nice tale!
~Harry!
